How Fitsource works

1. Upload a photo

A screenshot from Instagram or TikTok, a photo you took, a magazine page. Anything with an outfit in it. The image is sent once to our vision model and discarded — we keep a fingerprint so the same photo isn't processed twice, never the photo itself.

2. Each piece is identified

The model describes every garment, shoe, bag and accessory it can see clearly: type, colour, material, cut, distinctive details. Each description becomes a shopping search.

3. Three price points

Results are ranked by how closely they match, then split into budget, mid and premium. The tier closest to what the original piece looks like is highlighted. "More matches" shows the rest.

How we make money

Some shop links earn us a commission if you buy, and the side spaces are paid placements. Neither changes what you see first — the closest match always leads. The full rules are in our editorial policy.
